There's nothing like a fall Saturday on the USD campus, and we want you to come and experience it for yourself. Take some time this autumn to visit with us on admissions, scholarships, financial aid opportunities, residence life, majors and academic programs, student life and much more. During your visit, you'll have opportunities to meet current students and faculty members, enjoy a picturesque tour of campus, fire-up at a pre-game tailgate party and cheer on the Coyotes during their football game in the DakotaDome. By the end of the day, we hope you'll want to spend every fall with us!
Check-in for Fall Open House begins at 9 a.m. with the program starting at 9:30 a.m. The prospective-Coyote tailgate party begins at the DakotaDome at noon followed by all of the pageantry of the Coyote's home football game.

Congratulations on your acceptance to the University of South Dakota! Join us in celebrating your admission with an affirming and enlightening program designed specifically for accepted students. During your visit, you'll learn what to expect next in the enrollment process with sessions on selecting your major and academic advising as well as the opportunity to attend a class and chat and interact with current students on our student panel. Your parents can take part in sessions on Coyote Parenting and you'll have the opportunity for optional financial aid appointments and placement tests to get you ready for your first year as a Coyote.
Admitted Students Day is scheduled from 8:30 -1 p.m. (check in begins at 8 a.m.) and includes lunch. Optional appointments/testing run from 1-3 p.m Admitted Students Day is reserved for students accepted to USD. If you have not yet been accepted, please wait until your decision before signing up for Admitted Students Day.
Native American Visit Weekend

In conjunction with the Building Bridges Conference and Tiospaye Student Council's annual traditional Wacipi (pow wow), Native American Weekend Visit provides Native American high school students and their counselors the opportunity to experience the college setting while gaining an increased awareness about the importance of persistence in education. It's the spring of your junior year and time for you to join us for this University-wide event! Junior Visit Day provides you with the opportunity to meet USD's extraordinary faculty, explore various majors and academic programs and learn more about the admissions process, student services, campus life, the residential experience and much more. Your day begins with registration at 9:30 a.m. with the program concluding at approximately 2 p.m.
