The University of South Dakota Scholarship for Phi Theta Kappa and Transfer Students

Transfer students with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 are eligible to apply.
Community College transfer students who are members of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society are encouraged to apply.
$2,000 over two years.
Deadline to apply is April 1.

Transfer Admission

If you are transferring from a junior college or college/university outside of the South Dakota Board of Regents System, follow these easy requirements and procedures for Transfer Admission.

South Dakota Board of Regents (BOR) Transfer

If you are transferring and your most recent college or university is a South Dakota Board of Regents System school (BHSU, DSU, NSU, SDSMT, SDSU), follow the procedures for BOR Transfers

Readmitted Students

If the last school you attended was the University of South Dakota and you are returning to USD after discontinuing your enrollment, follow the procedures for Readmitted Students.

Transfer and Substitution of Classes

If you think you might have taken a course at another institution that has not yet been evaluated for equivalency at USD, submit a petition using the Transfer Equivalency Requests form.

Articulation Agreements

USD's faculty-approved articulation agreements assist students in planning and taking appropriate courses at identified community colleges for transfer to USD.
