Fall 2015 Registration
Welcome to the University of South Dakota! As a member of USD's incoming class for 2015, you will have the opportunity to register for your fall classes beginning in the spring 2015.

Rapid City Registration Event scheduled for May 12-13, 2015 2 p.m.-7 p.m. both days.
Before you can register, you must first complete the following steps:
Submit your $100 University Deposit
Your $100 university deposit makes your admission official. Your deposit reserves your spot in the incoming class, provides you with your on-campus housing options and confirms any scholarship offers you receive from USD. You'll need to submit your deposit before features such as signing up for your housing and obtaining your USD e-mail become available to you. Submit your University deposit
File your FAFSA
File your FAFSA by USD's priority deadline April 1. List USD's code of 003474 on your FAFSA.
Pick up your USD E-mail Account
After you pay your University deposit you will need your official USD e-mail account not only for communication but to log into the MyUSD Portal to select a Fast Track Registration date. Click here to pick up your account.
Students may also go to https://engage.act.org and click on "Student click here" and enter the following distribution code to get to the survey: OHD-139-385.
Take your Placement Test
You may be required to take a Placement Test. To determine if you need to take the test click here.
Send your Immunization Records to USD
Print and fill out the immunization record form and fax to (605) 624-6636 or mail to: USD Student Health, 20 S. Plum, Vermillion, SD 57069
Once you have completed these steps you will receive further details for registration in your USD e-mail. Please check it regularly for important information.
After you have received your options, you can make your selection online through the MyUSD portal and sign up for the available registration option that best suits you.

|Send the Admissions Office your final high school transcript after you graduate (Required.)|
|Send the Admissions Office your final college transcripts to receive any dual enrollment credit. Read more about dual enrollment.|
|Beginning mid-April, financial aid award letters will be mailed to your permanent address. Read all information enclosed with the award letter before accepting your financial aid package. Please call the Financial Aid Office at 605-677-5446 with any questions.|
| Receive your roommate and residence hall assignment beginning June 2015.|
| Reserve your books online and if necessary, purchase your parking pass|
| After you register for classes, your bill will be available online at your SD Epay account: You will NOT receive a paper copy of your bill.|
