The Honors Program
One of USD's signature programs, the Honors Program is open to students in all majors. Honors students apply for and are admitted to the program before entering as first year students and generally display potential for Honors work in high school through good grades, college preparatory curriculum, high ACT scores and participation in school and community activities.
Undergraduate Research
Delve deeper into your areas of interest as you work with faculty on cutting-edge research. Even in your first or second year at South Dakota, you can join research teams, earn mini-grants, present at national conferences or conduct your research at sites around the world.
